"Highlights of the Hike" is the latest of a series of 6 works that were initially minted on the Ethereum blockchain in November 2021, on the Foundation.app platform.
Two days later, the series was moved from Ethereum to the Tezos blockchain, for ethical reasons, Tezos being a much more carbon-efficient blockchain at the time.
It was purchased by the Dutch collector Pronoia for 1200 tezos, which was at that moment a much significant amount for a NFT on Tezos.
In August 2022, "Highlights of the Hike" was purchased by the generative art fund Le Random for a record price of 83500 tezos, making it the highest sale ever on the Tezos blockchain.
