I just realized why The Bugged Tree resonates with me. It reminds me of the Ancient Bristlecone Pines in California's Eastern Sierra mountains. There are much better photos of them online, but here's one I took 12 years ago. Bugged trees exist IRL too--and they are beautiful 🌲🌱
